She holds Bachelor of Science degrees in Elementary Education and Special Education from Kauka College, Master of Science degrees in Reading Education and Special Education from Elmira College, and a Doctorate in Special Education from Walden University. Dr. Sheradin carries a large caseload of students and demonstrates an outstanding commitment to serving her students, parents, and colleagues. She actively participates in all school activities and goes above and beyond to support the school as a whole. She can often be found after school maintaining the school gardens. One of her colleagues said, “Dr. Sheradin always goes above and beyond the call of duty. Whether it is working to beautify the school's courtyard or front planters, helping teachers find interventions for IST, or simply being willing to listen and brainstorm solutions to problems, she is always willing to lend a helping hand. If anyone doubts the love a teacher has for his or her students, one look at everything Dr. Sheradin does casts all doubts away. If you need something taken care of, just ask Doc! She always finds a way to make it work. South Elementary is fortunate to have someone so dedicated to the students and to the school as a whole.”
