2015-16 Math-a-thon for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital

Our Academically and Intellectually Gifted (AIG) Math-A-Thon events to benefit St. Jude Children’s Hospital were extremely successful this year. Everyone had an awesome time "Doing the Math" for the children and the AIG students loved collaborating and solving the challenging math problems.

Our 23 AIG students at our elementary schools (Helena, North, North End, Oak Lane, South, Stories Creek, and Woodland) raised a total of $5,685.06 for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital during their Math-a-thon events. We are immensely proud of our AIG students and appreciate the community’s contributions to this education-based fundraising project!

These donations will help fulfill the St. Jude mission of finding cures and saving children! Click here to be directed to the St. Jude website for a video on the “Three things you should know about St. Jude research.”
