After three years as assistant principal at Southern Middle School, Ashley Warren will be taking the reins of cross town rival, Northern Middle School. Person County Schools’ Superintendent Danny Holloman comments, “Ashley is a proven instructional leader and a compassionate educator. We are proud to have her leading Northern Middle School.”
Mrs. Warren began her teaching career with the Person County Schools (PCS) as a fourth grade teacher at North Elementary before transitioning into the role of instructional specialist at South Elementary School. She was named assistant principal at Southern Middle School in July 2013 where she has served since. “I am extremely excited to have the opportunity to serve as principal of Northern Middle School. I look forward to working with all stakeholders to ensure the success and growth of the Raider community,” Warren stated. “It is my desire to continue the development of strong community partnerships and spread the word of the many wonderful things that are happening in our district's middle schools. I have been very fortunate to have had the opportunity to learn and grow from outstanding leaders, staff members, and students in PCS. They have prepared me well for my new position as the principal of Northern Middle School.”
Mrs. Warren earned a bachelor’s degree from Appalachian State University and a master’s degree in school administration from Western Carolina University. Ashley resides in Person County with her husband Joey and their two boys, Jack and Mason.
